From the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to the Karuma hydropower project in Uganda, from the K-Electric Bin Qasim Power Station in Karachi, Pakistan, to girder projects in the Middle East... Immersed in the international market for 17 years, Xiangjia, as a subsidiary of ADTO Group, has grown into a leading exporting company of China's formwork and scaffolding, with a sales network covering more than 100 countries and regions in the world.
The overseas glory journey started with a call from Changsha to Alibaba's headquarters in Hangzhou in 2006.
It was the fifth year of China's accession to the WTO. The huge business opportunities in the global market affected the development of Xiangjia, and Xiangjia began to focus on the overseas market.
"Alibaba brought us our first international customer. When we took our first international customer to visit around the building materials factory and market, we feel very proud." The CEO of XIangjia Wu Yuan smiled.
And this decision also opened the broad world for ADTO.
After 16 years of hard work, Xiangjia has more than 3,000 customers with a total transaction amount of more than $1 million and realizes an average monthly sales of 10 million dollars. In the first quarter of 2022, the company's foreign trade growth exceeded 30%.
Xiangjia has more than 40 national patents, among which the steel plank patents stand out from the peers. In terms of customer service, Xiangjia has broken the traditional single formwork system, and designed a more flexible and economical full formwork matching system, which is convenient for customers to "freely switch" between different formworks such as plywood, aluminum alloy, steel, so as to realize the optimal combination and achieve the real "one-stop solution".
"We used this product in the Shangri-La Hotel project in Manila, Philippines, which greatly reduced the construction cost. The client was very satisfied with this product. We have been working closely together since then, and the hotel has become a famous landmark in the area."
In 2018, Xiangjia Alibaba store received an inquiry from Hyundai Group in South Korea. "At that time, although Xiangjia was already a leading enterprise in China's scaffolding industry, we had never served such a giant global group buyer." After more than two months of negotiation, Xiangjia won the order with excellent products, hassle-free services and good reputation in the industry.
At present, Xiangjia has European CE, Australian AS/NZS, European Union EN131, Japanese JIS, Swedish RISE and other dozens of authoritative certifications.
After years of deep cultivation in the international market, Xiangjia's products have been extended from scaffolding to engineering material products and solutions, and also established a good reputation among customers. "Based on China's strong supply chain, we believe in the value of compound interest brought by long-term cultivation. Now, we have more than 2,600 partners with strong purchasing power, which is our most valuable resource and wealth."
For future development, Wu Yuan also showed optimism and positive attitude. "The pandemic is both a crisis and an opportunity. "Recovery of old infrastructure and strengthening of new infrastructure' represents the global trend and is a piece of good news for the construction industry. We will take advantage of the international station and other digital cross-border platforms to enrich our strength and improve the service capability to provide more competitive solutions.
